Nine faculty and students from NTCC attended the World History Association of Texas (WHAT) meeting held on the campus of Texas A&M University - Commerce February 22-23.
Daniel Landaverde was recently named the winner of the 2019 Chitsey Award, granted each year to the student of Honors Northeast who most exceeded expectations. The award comes with a $200 check.
The Northeast Texas Community College Cosmetology Department dual credit class from Chapel Hill welcomed some special clients this week as young ladies from Chapel Hill Middle School visited campus to learn about cosmetology and to receive makeovers from their older Chapel Hill classmates.
Miguel Paco, the 2018 Cypress Bank Scholar of Honors Northeast will present highlights of the recent honors film on Barbara Conrad, this Monday, February 25, at the First Presbyterian Church of Mount Pleasant at 1 p.m. Visitors are welcome. The presentation will concur with a meeting of the Mount Pleasant Retired School Personnel.
The Northeast Texas Community College Continuing Education (CE) Department is offering a variety of courses beginning in late February and March. From career training to fun personal enrichment classes, the CE department has something for almost everyone.
The Texas A&M University – Commerce Mathematics Advisory Council met Friday, February 1 at the Alumni Center on the university campus for a scheduled biannual meeting.
The application deadline for an optimal scholarship of Honors Northeast for the 2019-2020 school year is 1 March.
