The NTCC Division of Creative and Performing Arts recently named Tamara Kearney as Outstanding Design 1 student for the Fall 2020 semester.

While it looked a lot different from our normal commencement, the NTCC class of December 2020 walked the stage Friday in a socially-distanced ceremony. For those of you who didn't get to watch it live, you can view it at the links below. NTCC is pleased to announce that it is planning to reopen the Whatley Center for a modified Spring 2021 season!

Rebecca Gardner, program director of Funeral Science Education at Northeast Texas Community College, and Abby Shurtz, faculty member of the Mortuary Science Program at NTCC, have been named chairs of the Emerging Leaders Committee.

The NTCC Art Department recently honored Amalyah DeLisi as the outstanding drawing student for the 2020 Fall semester.

The NTCC Foundation recently released its 2020 Community Report. The magazine announced that Mr. Fred Markham with the Texas Pioneer Foundation was named this year's Distinguished Benefactor for his continued support of the Work4College Program. It also features student success stories, the annual giving report and a full list of scholarships and donors. 

NTCC is now enrolling for the December Intersession Term. This is a great way to quickly complete a class you need for your degree over the holiday break. There is a flat $300 rate per course (not including textbook). Classes are online and run December 10 through January 8. Click here for more information and to sign up. Jemma Weatherford (pictured right), of Pittsburg was named the Fall 2020 Outstanding Student in Federal Government. Joelle Weatherford (pictured left), of Pittsburg, was named the Fall 2020 Outstanding Student in Texas Government.

The Office of Student Activities, Student Government Association, Social Work Club and The Wesley Fellowship Student Center are partnering together to host a campus wide Advent Calendar food drive to support The Eagle Pantry.
