Another great speaker coming to campus on Monday, November 15 – Councilman Jerry Walker. 
Come learn more about the history of the United States' newest national holiday, and one that had its origins in Texas. Also, learn more about how local government works. Maybe inspire YOU to get involved!!

*Reminder that HIST 2381 African-American History I and HIST 2382 African-American History II meet the Core Curriculum degree requirement for 6 hours of American History. Each course stands alone and can be mixed/matched with HIST 1301 United States History I and HIST 1302 United States History II.
