The Northeast Texas Community College Carroll Shelby Automotive Program will host a Shelby Centennial Car Show as part of the festivities of the Texas Hot Link Festival in Pittsburg on Saturday, April 29th. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church Ministry Center at 209 Mt. Pleasant Street in Pittsburg. Admission is free to the public.
Several car clubs from the DFW area are expected to attend and an impressive display of Shelby cars is anticipated. The car show is just one of several events that day honoring the 100th birthday of the late Shelby, who was a native of Camp County.
