Brandon Pettey places at A&M research symposium

NTCC Adjunct Instructor of Developmental English Brandon Pettey recently won second place at the Texas A&M University System Pathways Student Research Symposium in Galveston, Texas. The symposium brings students together from all the A&M University campuses to present research projects and compete in their various disciplines at the undergraduate, master’s, or PhD level. Pettey competed in the master’s Humanities category and presented a paper on the relationship between time and trauma as it is represented in two short stories. He represented Texas A&M University - Texarkana where he is earning his master’s degree in English. Pettey graduated from NTCC in 2016.
