The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College will host the popular children?s musical†Pinkalicious†Sunday, April 3 at 2:30 p.m. This special event will close out the 2015-2016 Whatley Center special event calendar.†

?We have had a great year of performances and we are thrilled to finish up with this lively, engaging children?s musical. We truly want our center to offer something for the whole family, and we hope to see some new faces at Pinkalicious," Carolyn Franks, Director of the Whatley Center, said.†

Pinkalicious, based on the popular book by Victoria Kann and Elizabeth Kann, tells the story of†Pinkalicious, who can't stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor's office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe - a dream come true for this pink loving enthusiast. But when her hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure out a way to get out of this pink predicament.

The event is sponsored by Helen Hampton.†Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and may be be purchased by calling the Whatley Center Box Office at 903-434-8181. Please visit ntcc.edu/whatley to learn more about the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts.†
