Health Science Simulation Center

Northeast Health Sciences Simulation Center is a resource available to Health Science students and healthcare professionals to facilitate real patient situations in a life like-setting. We are committed to advancing safe, high-quality effective patient care throughout all Health Science programs and throughout the region by integrating cutting-edge simulation technologies into the training of all learners.

Health Science Simulation Center facility includes a Skills Classroom, Conference Room, Hospital Rooms, VR Stations, Birthing Suite, Emergancy Room bays, and  Ambulance bay. Designed as a highly flexable dynamic setting each space simulate real life with realistic headwalls and medical equipment.   

 

Why use simulation?

Simulation has been proven to reduce human error while increasing learner’s skill development. Simulation allows learners to practic skills in a controlled environment. Simulation offers access to patients on demand.
