Experience and other Qualifications Required:

The Student Services Specialist must be able to provide comprehensive and outstanding customer service to students, guests, faculty, and staff in the college's student services center. This person must be knowledgeable of customer service principles and practices and have good interpersonal, decision-making, planning and organization skills. 

Description of Major Responsibilities:

Assist student with applications and questions related to all aspects of enrollment. (Admissions, document requirements, financial aid, etc.) Answer questions and provide assistance with registration, orientation, degree audits/advisement referrals and on-line enrollment activities. Assist with transcript requests, change of personal information, schedule changes, complete withdraws, insurance verifications and FERPA forms. Process payments for all charges and assist students with payment plans and understanding account statements. Issue Student IDs and parking stickers. Answer incoming calls (switchboard and departmental). Offer an exceptional customer service experience at all times.
