Library Assistant

Classification: Staff
Status: Full Time
Minimum Salary: Varies, 30 hours per week

Description of Job Duties

  • Oversees circulation operations of the Charlie and Helen Hampton Library.
  • Patron assistance (including basic computer and printing help)
  • Assists with managing student workers.
  • Library collection maintenance (including inventorying and managing reserves shelf)
  • In-house marketing
  • Equipment maintenance and delivery.
  • Answering telephone.

Experience and Other Qualifications Required

  • Associate's Degree in any discipline
  • Experience using Windows 11 and Microsoft Office.
  • Customer service experience.
  • General knowledge of how libraries operate.
