Information session planned for Boston travel study trip

Have you been bitten by the travel bug? Northeast Texas Community College is planning an exciting travel study trip to Boston next year from May 18-22. This is a great opportunity to explore one of the nation's most historic, iconic cities while earning college credit. An informational session is planned for Tuesday, Sept. 26th at 12:30 p.m. in Humanities 107. Anyone who has an interest in the trip is encouraged to attend.

Amador, Smith, & Sellars named 2023 Leaders of Promise

Yoana Amador and Madellynn Smith were among two of 213 Phi Theta Kappa members named a 2023 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholar and will each receive a $1000 scholarship. Vinson Sellars was selected as one of twenty-five 2023 Coca-Cola Military Leaders of Promise Scholars and will also receive a $1000 scholarship. Applicants are selected based on outstanding academic achievement and demonstrated leadership potential, competing against nearly 1100 applicants.

Soccer drops season openers

The Northeast Texas Community College Soccer teams hosted Angelina College in their season and conference opener. The Women’s team fell 17-0 and the Men lost 2-0 on Friday.

The NTCC Women's soccer team began their conference campaign with a lopsided 17-0 loss on Friday day to nationally ranked Angelina College.
