Isabel Tresidder (pictured) is a home-schooled student from Naples, Texas, who graduated in 2024, and is in her first semester at NTCC. She is majoring in biology and plans to pursue a career in medicine, specializing in surgery. She has a deep interest in biological research and is taking an independent study course this semester under the tutelage of Dr. Chris McAllister.  She is working on parasites of California rodents and hopes to continue her studies at NTCC with Dr. Mac.  Most importantly, she will likely get a publication from her work.

Dr. Mac is offering two independent research courses next spring and summer, Biol. 2289 (2 hrs) and Biol. 2389 (3 hrs).  Those who may be interested in enrolling in either one of these courses should contact him at cmcallister@ntcc.edu or drop by his office in UHS 163.
