The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation held its annual Golf Classic on Monday, Oct. 21st at Princedale Country Club in Pittsburg. The tournament raised over $20,000 to support the NTCC Work4College Program.
The Guaranty Bank and Trust team won the six-man-scramble, shooting 19 under. The winning team (pictured from left) included Tyler Verner, Trent Abbott, Jey Yancey, Patrick Redfearn, and Jace Baker. In the closest to the hole contest, Grady Townsend won first place and Robby Dunn won second place.
Teams that participated included American National Bank, Bowie Cass Electric, Cypress Bank, Elliott Auto Group, Guaranty Bank and Trust, Pilgrims, Texas Heritage National Bank, and two NTCC teams (sponsored by Great Western Dining and SWEPCO). The NTCC Culinary Arts program catered a hamburger lunch for the event.
“We would like to thank everyone who came out to support the tournament this year. The funds we raised will go directly toward sponsoring students in the 2025 Work4College Program,” Mason May, NTCC Director of Work4College, said. “We are also very grateful to Princedale Country Club for donating the use of their beautiful golf course and clubhouse for the event.”
