Titus Regional Medical Center has donated $1,000 to Northeast Texas Community College to provide CPR certification for all first-year students in the college’s Work4College program. The training, taught by NTCC EMS instructors through the American Heart Association, includes adult, child, and infant CPR, as well as AED use. This generous gift equips students with valuable, life-saving skills and boosts their employability across many fields.
“We are incredibly grateful to Titus Regional Medical Center for investing in the safety and success of our students,” May said. “This training is something they’ll carry with them for life, and it reflects the strong community support that helps our program thrive.”
The Work4College program allows students to earn money toward their education while gaining real-world job experience on campus and in the community.
