Phi Theta Kappa members have until June 16 to apply for one of the 200 Leaders of Promise Scholarships. The $1,000 scholarship provides new Phi Theta Kappa members with financial resources to help defray educational expenses while enrolled in an associate degree program.
Of these awards, several scholarships are designated for current military personnel, their spouses or dependents, and military veterans. Additionally, scholarships are available for international students or those without residency status.
To be eligible to apply, students must be a PTK member who completed at least 12 credit hours but no more than 36 by January 31, 2025. The student must not have yet received an associate or bachelor’s degree from any college. Additionally, students must have an academic record free from suspension, probation, or other disciplinary actions. Do not have a criminal record, or if a convicted felon, have all conditions of sentencing, including probation/parole, completed.
