The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a check for $12,311 from Jerry Hearron on behalf of the Mount Pleasant Community Fund. The gift will be used to provide scholarships for new graduates of Chapel Hill High School, Harts Bluff Early College High School, and Mount Pleasant High School. All graduates from these schools are eligible to apply for this scholarship, which has been helping Titus County students achieve their college goals for many years. The Mount Pleasant Community Scholarship application for 2026 high school seniors who plan to attend NTCC in the fall will open in late January.
