Alumni Spotlight:

Karli Gentry

From Northeast Texas Community College ’21 to a registered nurse at 22 years old, Karli’s journey embodies a commitment to healthcare. She was born and raised in Mt. Pleasant, attended Chapel Hill ISD, NTCC, and then obtained her bachelor’s from Texas A&M University-Texarkana to return home where she proudly serves as a RN at Titus Regional Medical Center dedicated to serving her community.

Karli exclaimed, “I loved NTCC’s Medical Assisting Program. The professors were fantastic and wanted to see you succeed. I actually enjoyed going to class every day!”

Thanks to her education at NTCC, Karli was able to secure a job at a local clinic, gaining invaluable experience while in nursing school. The foundation laid at NTCC propelled her forward, enabling her to succeed in her career today.

Let’s congratulate Karli for her successes and thank her for her commitment to our community!
