Dr. Kathy Eubanks named 2022 Adjunct Faculty Member of the Year

Dr. Kathy Eubanks has been chosen as the recipient of NTCC’s 2022 Adjunct Faculty Member of the year. This award is given by the Faculty Senate to award teaching excellence and in recognition of the adjunct faculty member’s education, talents, dedication and experience.

Dr. Eubanks has taught A&P I and II and nutrition courses at NTCC since 2014. She exhibits a high level of knowledge in the biological and laboratory sciences based on her educational and medical/clinical experiences. This knowledge, combined with her ability to relate to her students, helps her to take students at the level they enter her course to a new level of understanding in anatomy and physiology.

Dr. Eubanks, while currently teaching entirely online, is always willing to go the extra mile to see that her students have the support necessary to master the material required to pursue a career in the health sciences. 

Dr. Eubanks holds a B.S. degree in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University and an M.D. degree from Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Medicine.  She is a board-certified pathologist and currently resides in Lubbock, Texas, with her husband and three children.
