PTK members attend Texas Honors Institute at Texas Women’s University

Eight members of Alpha Mu Chi, NTCC’s five-star, award winning chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, attended the Phi Theta Kappa Texas Honors Institute July 26 - 28 on the campus of Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas.  During the conference attendees stayed in dorms on the TWU campus and ate in the campus dining hall.  All sessions were held on the beautiful tree-filled campus.

Honors Northeast, the honors program of Northeast Texas Community College announces a call for poems and images that can accent or enliven our sense of the surroundings, people, the culture, and/or the history of Northeast Texas. 

Last chance to sign up for EagleGanza

Attention New Students: Don’t miss your chance to sign up for EagleGanza! The final event for 2024 will be held on Wednesday, August 14th. There is still time to register, but space is limited.

EagleGanza is an action-packed half-day event designed to help new students prepare for their upcoming college experience. It is specifically targeted toward incoming freshmen and those thinking about attending NTCC.

Ag Program to host Harvest End and Homestead Farmers Markets

The NTCC Agriculture Department is excited to hold their end of harvest farmer’s markets on Tuesday, July 30th and Thursday, August 1st!  

“These markets are meant to showcase the hard work of our Work4College students, to market the goods that they have worked hard to produce and celebrate a great end of summer” stated director Rene’ McCracken.
