Dear College Family,
I hope everyone has had a refreshing holiday break and is ready to embark on another impactful year at NTCC.
I know we all hoped that this pandemic would be completely in our rear view mirror by now. As we begin this new semester, however, while experiencing another aggressive spike in COVID infections with the Omicron variant, we will need to continue implementing heightened safety measures on campus to help reduce the risk of Covid spread until this current aggressive wave subsides. I hope that will be soon.
Until then, based on recommendations from our local health officials and Safe Campus task group, I would ask everyone to please comply with the following general protocols while on campus until further notice:
- Practice social distancing whenever possible
- Wear a face covering when you are not able to socially distance
- Wash hands or use hand sanitizer frequently
- Review the updated CDC guidelines on what to do if you test positive, have been directly exposed to Covid-19, or have symptoms.
- Continue to self-report if you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been exposed per the latest CDC guidelines.

Finally, if you have not already, please consider getting fully vaccinated and ‘boosted’ in order to keep yourself and other members of our campus family as safe as possible.
I appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation and look forward to another great year at NTCC.
