The Northeast Texas Community College Department of Continuing Education and Corporate Training recently hosted the fifth annual Northeast Texas Childcare Conference. Due to COVID-19 concerns, the conference was held virtually through Zoom. There were 75 attendees for the October 24 event and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. The keynote speaker for the day was Rachel Giannini from Chicago. The conference also included a variety of breakout sessions on different topics and a closing session.
“The Childcare Conference is one of our major events each year. We were so glad that we were still able to offer this important training despite COVID-19,” Lisa York, NTCC Coordinator of Continuing Education said. “I’d especially like to thank our Continuing Education staff, IT department and the many others who helped to make the virtual event a success.”
