Elizabeth Bailey is a Criminal Justice faculty member at Northeast Texas Community College and has worked in both secondary education and higher education since 2015. She holds an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice from Paris Junior College, a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology from Texas A&M University–Commerce, and a Master of Science in Applied Criminology from Texas A&M University–Commerce.
She brings both academic and practical perspectives into the classroom, emphasizing how the criminal justice system operates in real-world settings. Her teaching interests include courts and legal processes, corrections, ethics in leadership, and contemporary issues in criminal justice. In addition to teaching, Elizabeth is actively involved in program development and workforce alignment, working to create meaningful pathways for students through certificates, occupational skills awards, and transfer opportunities. She is committed to creating an engaging, supportive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, ethical reasoning, and professional growth.
