Program Description and Purpose
Integrated instruction and practice in Spanish language, communication, and intercultural understanding form the foundation of Spanish language studies at Northeast Texas Community College. The Associate of Arts in Spanish (Spanish AA) provides students with a four-course sequence designed to develop proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing while building grammatical knowledge, vocabulary, cultural understanding, and intercultural competence.
