Are you interested in participating in the next Theatre production at Northeast Texas Community College? The NTCC Theatre Department is getting ready to host auditions for The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde.
Where: The Whatley Theatre, NTCC Campus
When: February 4th at 6:00 pm
Who: Anyone! Auditions are for both NTCC students, faculty, staff AND community members
What (will you be doing?): Come prepared to read short scenes from the play. Also! Plan to show off your best Standard British (RP) dialect for the auditions. The play is set in Victorian England, circa 1899 and we're striving for authenticity.
FYI: the play will be adapted and modified in order to create a better (shorter) run time. Performances will be April 24 - 26th, 2025, with a daytime matinee on either April 24 or 25.
