Culinary Arts to host Ristorante Lunch Buffet on October 10th

The Culinary Arts program at Northeast Texas Community College will host a Ristorante Lunch Buffet with the theme "Strangers in the night" on Thursday, Oct. 10th from noon to 2 p.m. (come and go). Tickets are $25 per person and the event will be held at the NTCC Culinary Arts School at 114 Jefferson Street in downtown Pittsburg.

Calf dressing teams needed for upcoming college rodeo

The NTCC Rodeo team will be hosting the third NIRA Southern Region Rodeo of the season on Friday, October 18th and Saturday, October 19th. Friday night there will be a calf dressing and costume contest. There is no cost to enter and each three-person team will compete for gift cards and a NTCC Rodeo Apparel for the Calf Dressing and Costume Contest.

We would like to fill out the teams, with a max of 15 teams, with members of different NTCC Organizations/Sports Teams, Students, Faculty and Staff Groups.

The Continuing Education and Corporate Training department at Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) recently conducted successful CPR training sessions for local industry partners, including Newly Weds Foods and Scot Industries. Delivered on-site, the training has been well-received, with both companies praising the college’s efforts to prioritize safety and ensure their employees are prepared for emergency situations.

Clinton announces intent to retire at September Board of Trustees meeting

Northeast Texas Community College will soon be searching for its next president after Dr. Ron Clinton announced his intent to retire at the regular Board of Trustees Meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 24th. Clinton will remain through the end of his current contract on June 30th, 2025. The announcement was made at the conclusion of the meeting.
