The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a check for $20,000 from the Texas Pioneer Foundation. The funds will be used to support NTCC's innovative Work4College Program. The 2025 Discovery Kids College kicked off this week in a big way! NTCC is buzzing with youthful energy as 109 students ranging from ages 6 to 16 participate in a variety of engaging classes. The two-week program includes the following classes:

The event drew a great crowd of students, faculty, staff, and guests from the Ignite Youth Club in Mount Pleasant, all ready to celebrate in their patriotic gear.

The Northeast Texas Community College Eagle Rodeo team had three members qualify in the Team Roping event for the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming and competed June 15 to June 21, 2025.
NTCC was represented by Teyton Barton (Heeler) who was partnered with East Texas A&M University’s Garrett Freeman (Header), and the Eagle duo of Kelon Andrews (Header) and Hayden Sanders (Heeler) made up the Eagle qualifiers.

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a donation from Dwain and Linda Blount of Mount Pleasant. Their gift will be used to sponsor a student in the Work4College Program.
