Texas Pioneer Foundation gives $20,000 for Work4College

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a check for $20,000 from the Texas Pioneer Foundation. The funds will be used to support NTCC's innovative Work4College Program. Eagles Rodeo finishes up season at CNFR

The Northeast Texas Community College Eagle Rodeo team had three members qualify in the Team Roping event for the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming and competed June 15 to June 21, 2025. 

NTCC was represented by Teyton Barton (Heeler) who was partnered with East Texas A&M University’s Garrett Freeman (Header), and the Eagle duo of Kelon Andrews (Header) and Hayden Sanders (Heeler) made up the Eagle qualifiers.

Dwain and Linda Blount sponsor Work4College scholarship

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a donation from Dwain and Linda Blount of Mount Pleasant. Their gift will be used to sponsor a student in the Work4College Program. Pictured (from left) is Dwain, Linda and Mason May, Director of Work4College. There are currently 81 students participating in the summer Work4College Program.
