- Master's degree in Criminal Justice or another area with 18 hours in the field required.
- 3 years of experience in the field or related

Funeral Services students complete on-campus practical training
Associate Degree students in the NTCC Funeral Services Education program were on campus this week to complete their required practical studies, including facilitating a full mock funeral and graveside service.
Work4College receives $10,000 donation from Your Philanthropy
The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a $10,000 grant from Your Philanthropy in Tyler, Texas. The donation will provide scholarships for 10 students in the Work4College Program. Foundation receives $40,000 from Billy and Dorothy Hudnall estate
The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a donation of $40,000 from the Estate of Billy and Dorothy Hudnall. The funds, which were donated as part of NTCC's 40th Anniversary fundraising campaign, are being used to establish the Billy and Dorothy Hudnall Memorial Scholarship to support welding students. The Hudnalls were long time residents of Pittsburg.

Katon Trantham named MVISD Campus Support Personnel of the Month
Katon Trantham, Communities In Schools (CIS) Coordinator at Mount Vernon Elementary, was recognized as Campus Support Personnel of the Month during the December Mount Vernon ISD school board meeting.
Trantham has been a valued member of the CIS team for four years, providing consistent support to students and families through academic assistance, mentoring, and critical wraparound services.

Northeast Texas Community College celebrated the holiday season with its annual Christmas Party and Employee Awards Ceremony on Friday, Dec. 5. Faculty and staff gathered to enjoy food, fellowship and to recognize colleagues who reached significant career milestones or retired during the past year.
Tisha Patel awarded Psi Beta Start Here Scholarship
Northeast Texas Community College student Tisha Patel has been awarded the Psi Beta START HERE Scholarship. Patel, a psychology major, currently serves as secretary for NTCC’s Psi Beta chapter. She is pictured (left) with Dr. Karyn Skaar, Psi Beta Advisor and Professor of Psychology at the scholarship presentation.
“Ms. Patel is my favorite kind of student — a student who regularly exceeds expectations both in and out of the classroom,” said Dr. Skaar.
