Northeast Texas Community College will host a Veterans Day Cookout on Tuesday, November 11th, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Eagles Nest (outside the Student Union Building). The event is open to students, faculty, and staff as the NTCC family gathers to honor the brave men and women who have served our nation.

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation held its annual Golf Classic on Monday, Oct. 27th at Daingerfield Country Club. The tournament raised over $11,000 to support the NTCC Work4College Program.
After being postponed last weekend due to severe weather, Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) is excited to welcome the community to campus tonight, Friday, October 31, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. for Scare Affair 2025!
Northeast Texas Community College students, faculty, and staff came together on Wednesday, Oct. 29 to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the annual Paint the SUB Pink event in the Student Union Building.
Quilts by local quilters will hang in the Whatley Center foyer in what is now an annual tradition for the NTCC art department. For the ninth year, quilters will bring their treasured art to share with the community. The exhibit will run from Wednesday, Nov. 5th through Monday, Nov. 24th. A reception is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 12th at 12:30 p.m. in the Whatley Center foyer, and refreshments will be served.
The Northeast Texas Community College Theatre Department will bring a festive dose of laughter and nostalgia to the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts with its upcoming production of A 1940s Christmas Carol. The show, written and directed by Dr. Page Petrucka, Professor of Theatre, runs November 13–15 at 7 p.m., with an additional matinee performance on Saturday, November 15 at 2 p.m.
Honors Northeast, the Northeast Texas Community College Honors Program, is pleased to announce its Honors Students for the 2025-2026 school year. This includes seven Presidential Scholars and fifteen Honors Scholars.
Araceli Landaverde and Sarah Hamlin were among sixteen winners of the prestigious Walter B. Cooper Scholarships. The Walter B. Cooper scholarship winners were announced at the end of the Phi Theta Kappa Texas Leadership Conference. Winners have demonstrated themselves to be well-rounded individuals with active participation in areas reflecting the four hallmarks of Phi Theta Kappa: scholarship, leadership, service, and fellowship.
