Northeast Texas Community College wrapped up another successful year of Kids Discovery College, welcoming more than 110 young campers to campus for two weeks of hands-on learning, creativity and fun. With more than a dozen engaging classes covering everything from science and technology to theater, art and sports, the program gave local children the opportunity to learn new skills while making lasting summer memories.
The camp's success was made possible through the teamwork and dedication of the entire NTCC community. Faculty, staff and administrators from across campus came together to create a safe, welcoming and engaging experience for every camper.
"One of my favorite parts of the summer is seeing the excitement on the kids' faces as they come to campus each day ready to learn something new," said Kenzie Taylor, NTCC director of Continuing Education and Corporate Training. "We love opening our campus to young learners and giving them the opportunity to explore new interests, make friends and experience college in a fun and welcoming environment. We hope they leave with great memories and an excitement for learning that lasts long after camp ends."
