Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) is excited to announce that it has begun the search for its next president. The new leader will provide visionary leadership to advance the college’s mission and strategic goals. Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees, the president will oversee all academic and administrative areas. Candidates should hold a doctoral degree and have at least five years of senior executive experience, preferably in a community college setting.

NTCC is located centrally in its district of Camp, Morris and Titus Counties on a scenic 500+ acre rural campus two hours east of Dallas. It serves approximately 3,000 students and offers a variety of programs, including workforce training and traditional university transfer classes. The college is known for its top tier honors program, strong dual credit partnerships, and unique programs like the Carroll Shelby Automotive Technology Program and Work4College.

"We are seeking a dynamic leader who shares our vision of providing exceptional educational opportunities and fostering community growth," said Amy Adkins, NTCC Executive Director of Human Resources.

More details about the position and the application process can be found at www.ntcc.edu/presidentialsearch. Applications will be accepted until February 21st, with a goal of having the new president announced in June. Dr. Ron Clinton, NTCC’s current president, announced last fall that he plans to retire in mid-2025. The next president will be the sixth individual to lead the 40-year-old institution.
