Eagles Soccer to hold informational meeting
The Northeast Texas Community College Eagles Soccer program will host an informational meeting on Thursday, March 21. All current NTCC students who are considering trying out for either the men's or women's soccer team for the Fall 2013 semester should plan to attend this important event.
The meeting will will be held at 7 p.m. room 101 of the Student Union Building.
NTCC closed March 11-15 for spring break
Northeast Texas Community College will be closed from Monday, March 11 to Friday, March 15 for spring break. The campus will resume regular hours on Monday, March 18. In case of an emergency on campus during this time, please call security at 903-563-1417.
Andrew Yox named President-Elect of Great Plains Honors Council
Northeast Texas Community College professor Andrew Yox of Mount Pleasant has been named President-Elect of the Great Plains Honors Council (GPHC). Yox was chosen to serve by his peers and will assume his new role at the annual GPHC conference at West Texas A&M University this April 5-7.
Probation officers complete firearm training at NTCC
The Probation Officers of the 76th and 276th Judicial District Adult Probation Department (Morris, Camp and Titus Counties) have all qualified at Northeast Texas Community College with TCLEOSE firearms training and are now permitted to carry firearms in the discharge of their duties.
Whatley Center to host national tour of "As You Like It"
The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College will host a performance of the national tour of Shakespeare's comedy†As You Like It†on Friday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. The show is presented by The Acting Company of New York.

Free GED classes offered
The Adult Education Department at Northeast Texas Community College will offer free General Education Development (GED) classes at various locations throughout the area. All students must in enroll in an orientation session before beginning classes. See schedule/contact information below:
