The Northeast Texas Community College men's and women's soccer programs, in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Association, will be hosting the annual Kick Out Cancer fundraising and awareness games on Tuesday October 14 and Friday October 17 at the Eagles Soccer Complex on the campus of NTCC, in Mount Pleasant, Texas.

Northeast Texas Community College celebrated a major milestone on Saturday as around 1,000 people came out to campus for the 40th Anniversary Community Picnic. The event was filled with fun, laughter, and community pride as families, alumni, students, and friends gathered to mark four decades of NTCC serving Northeast Texas.

Northeast Texas Community College held its 40th Anniversary Community Picnic on Saturday, Oct. 4th. Part of the festivities included an impressive car show that drew more than 50 entries from across the region. The event featured a wide variety of makes and models, showcasing everything from vintage classics to modern favorites.
The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College will open its 2025-2026 Heart of the Arts Entertainment Series with Four By Four on Tuesday, October 21 at 7:30 p.m.

NTCC is proud to recognize former Eagle Esther Okoronkwo, who is continuing to shine on the world stage. After an outstanding collegiate career, Esther has gone on to play professionally overseas and is currently competing in Canada’s Northern Super League.

Dr. Chris T. McAllister, Professor of Biology at Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC), recently led three NTCC independent study students on a research trip to the Ouachita Mountains Biological Station (OMBS) in Big Fork, Arkansas. Michelle Mejia, Xenia Esparza, and Estefani Garcia participated in the field experience from September 26–28, 2025.
Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) is proud to welcome Longview artist Lissa Talbot as the featured exhibitor for October. Her work will be on display in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts foyer from Friday, October 3 through Wednesday, October 22.
