The NTCC Work4College Program celebrated the end of summer with its annual appreciation luncheon on Wednesday, Aug. 2. Work4College donors, supervisors, students and their families attended the event in the Student Union Building. This is the 9th year of the program and more than 90 students participated.

This summer alone, Work4College students put in more than 12,000 hours of work on the NTCC campus and donated more than 2,000 lbs. of food for the NTCC CARES food pantry for community service. Their contributions will help feed NTCC students and their families for almost an entire semester.

"We were so happy to be able to bring our donors and participants together to celebrate a great summer. These students and their supervisors have worked hard over the last few months and this was just a small way to show our appreciation," Mason May, Director of Work4College said.

Many thanks to Richard and Margaret Perryman (pictured below with their scholarship recipients) for sponsoring the event. Visit www.work4college.com or contact May at mmay@ntcc.edu for more information on the program.
