The NTCC Continuing Education department recently offered its very first pickleball course starting in late march. The course, taught by Marc Levesque, is a great way to stay fit, have fun and make new friends.

"Thank you NTCC continuing education for allowing me to teach and instruct the fastest growing sport in America “Pickleball”  This amazing sport combines tennis, badminton and ping pong and is played with a paddle and heavier type whiffle ball," Levesque said.

Pickleball can be played as singles or doubles and NTCC lined their courts to better accommodate pickleball players.

According to Levesque, the sport is easy to learn, enjoy and play for all ages and seems to be especially attractive to those 40 and over.

Due to the popularity of the course, NTCC will offer another course that will run April 25th-May18th.
