Northeast Texas Community College invites alumni, fans, and community members to save the date for Saturday, May 2, 2026, as the college honors the 30th anniversary of the 1996 JUCO National Championship Eagles Baseball team.
Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) Continuing Education is offering a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course April 27 through May 1 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the NTCC campus (2886 FM 1735, Mount Pleasant).
This intensive five-day course is designed for professionals seeking to improve their leadership skills, advance in management, or gain a competitive edge in today’s workplace. Lean Six Sigma training focuses on increasing efficiency, enhancing quality, and reducing costs—skills that are highly valued across all industries.
NTCC's continuing education Pickleball class is back by popular demand! There's never been a better time to get some exercise and have a great time making new friends while learning about this exciting sport.
The class, which costs $75, will be held April 28 through May 21 at the NTCC tennis courts on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7:30 p.m. It will be taught by Marc Levesque. Space is limited, so be sure to register early to claim your spot on the court!
On April 7, 2026, the NTCC Industrial Technology Training Center (ITTC) partnered with Workforce Solutions Northeast Texas to host a manufacturing Job Fair from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Designed as a smaller, more personalized event, the job fair created an environment where students and job seekers could comfortably connect with employers, making conversations more engaging and meaningful.
Pictured: Alyssa Breann Ochoa wowed the judges in 2023 with a 11.6 average of a possible 12 for her study on the past and potential of the dairy business in Texas. This was the highest score ever recorded. Ochoa transferred after the contest to Texas A&M at College Station, and is now pursuing her Master’s there in Poultry Science.

Northeast Texas Community College Theatre is bringing laughter and classic comedy to the stage with Twelfth Night Or, What You Will, one of William Shakespeare’s most beloved works.
The Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) Work4College Program recently hosted an interactive etiquette class for students. More than 100 participants attended the session, which focused on building confidence and professionalism in formal settings. In addition to current Work4College students, members of NTCC Eagles Athletics teams also participated.

Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) welcomed leadership from East Texas A&M University to campus this week for the signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), reinforcing a shared commitment to student success and workforce readiness.
Early giving is officially underway for East Texas Giving Day, and the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation is encouraging the community to support NTCC students ahead of the big day on April 28, 2026.
Zach Richardson is a Research Librarian at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where he supports evidence synthesis projects, advanced biomedical literature searching, and research initiatives across clinical and academic departments. He also contributes to institutional efforts through the Institutional Review Board and patient education initiatives.
