For many students, earning a college degree is one of the biggest investments they will ever make. A recent economic impact study shows that an NTCC education can pay off for years to come.
According to the study, the average NTCC associate degree graduate can expect to earn about $8,200 more per year than someone with only a high school diploma working in Texas. Over the course of a career, that can add up to more than $344,000 in additional earnings.
Those increased earnings don't just benefit graduates. They also help strengthen families, support local businesses, and contribute to the overall economy of Northeast Texas.
"One of the most important things we do at NTCC is help students build better futures for themselves and their families," said Dr. Jon McCullough, Executive Vice President for Advancement. "This study shows that the education students receive here can continue creating opportunities and financial benefits long after graduation."
