The Fourth†Annual Engineering Roundtable at Northeast Texas Community College was held on Friday, February 17, 2017 in the Whatley Center Foyer on campus.† Since 2014, this event has become an annual opportunity for both students who are currently enrolled in the NTCC engineering program and students from area high schools who are interested in the field of engineering.

Alpha Mu Chi, the Northeast Texas Community College chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, will host a two-night, 1920s-themed Murder Mystery Dinner event in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts March 20 and 21.

Tickets are $20 each and includes a fun evening of sleuthing and a three-course meal. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. on both nights and will last approximately two and a half hours.

?This is our second year to host the murder mystery dinner fundraiser. Last year it sold out, so we decided to add a second night,? Dr.

Last week, the Northeast Texas Community College Eagles baseball team faced Arkansas Baptist College in a four-game series. The Eagles started the series off with an 8-5 win over Arkansas, but failed to claim victory in the following games.

Northeast collected one run in the top of the first after Darien Simms scored on a sacrifice fly by Will Dawson. Arkansas pitcher Wesley Johnson allowed two runs in the second. Back-to-back walks and a hit by wild pitch scored Eagles? Chandler Dean and Jhosmel Rodriguez.

Home runs for the Eagles came in the third and the fourth.

This past weekend, the Northeast Texas Community College Eagles softball team traveled to Beaumont for the Cross-Over Tournament. The Eagles faced six teams in the tourney, but only walked away with one win.
