For the seventeenth-straight year in a row, Cypress Bank has presented a high-end laptop for the use of Northeast Texas Community College honors students. This year’s Cypress Bank Scholar is Yahir Garcia, who is also serving as the producer of the program’s yearly film project. Garcia is a computer-science major.
The Northeast Texas Community College Vet Assistant program recently celebrated its first graduating class on Thursday, August 29th, 2024. Fifteen new students recently graduated from the program.

The Continuing Education and Corporate Training department at Northeast Texas Community College recently offered a lively and engaging Country Western Dance class. Held on Monday nights at NTCC's Hanson-Sewell Center in Pittsburg, TX, the course drew a diverse group of participants eager to learn the basics of popular country western dance styles.

The Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) Regenerative Farm is excited to announce the opening of its Muscadine Grape picking season. This annual event offers community members the unique opportunity to pick their own Muscadine Grapes for just $5 per gallon.
Rene' McCracken, Director of Agriculture at NTCC, invites everyone to participate in this seasonal harvest. "Muscadines are not only native to the south, absolutely delicious in jelly, sauces, or wine, but can be extremely healthy for you since they are packed full of antioxidants," said McCracken.
