The Titus Regional Medical Center (TRMC) Auxiliary recently presented the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation with $4,500, which will provide six $750 scholarships to benefit students at NTCC majoring in a health sciences field. Northeast Texas Community College Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) students recently conducted their neurodevelopmental lab and were privileged to work with actual babies of various ages. The students learned about normal development milestones and reflexes in their Management Of Neurological Disorders course. Employees from across the campus, as well as student family members, graciously “volunteered” their precious little ones for the lab.

The Barbershop Chorus Tour featuring East Texas Men in Harmony will perform at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on June 8 at 2 p.m. (full details in flyer). They always put on a great show and feature several local singers.
The NTCC Transfer Support Team is pleased to announce that two new laptop checkout kiosks are now available for student use! The state-of-the-art machines allow students to swipe their student ID card and check out a laptop that can be used at their convenience. Below is more information about the machines:
