NTCC is now enrolling for the December Intersession Term. This is a great way to quickly complete a class you need for your degree over the holiday break. Eagle Pantry

Maritza Quinones, a sophomore Presidential Scholar at Northeast Texas Community College, has just won the student election of the Great Plains Honors Council.  She topped two upperclassmen, from Texas Woman’s University, and Midwestern University, to become the one student from eighty honors programs and colleges, from Nebraska to Texas, to join the other professorial members of the GPHC Executive Council.

Brookshire Grocery Co. (BGC) is proud to announce the establishment of the “Focus on the Future” scholarship program which is in partnership with more than 40 universities and colleges in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. This more than $1 million donation is a substantial representation of BGC’s dedication to education and giving back to those who aspire to build a better future in the communities it serves. As part of this program, the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received $25,000 to establish an endowed scholarship.

The Mount Pleasant Tribune recently published a “Salute to Teachers” special. Local teachers from the Mount Pleasant, Chapel Hill, and Harts Bluff ISDs were nominated and voted on by the community. Crystal Tafuro was voted as top 3.
