Biology department continues research project in Arkansas

Dr. Chris T. McAllister, NTCC Biology, and two NTCC independent study students, Gracie Gray and Stephanie Hernandez traveled to the Ozarks at Clinton, Arkansas, July 14-18, 2025, and continued their novel research on fish parasites.  They were joined by Dr. Steve Chordas, III., from Ohio State University, an expert on true bugs (Hemiptera).

Phi Theta Kappa Members attend Texas Honors Institute at Texas Lutheran University

Alpha Mu Chi, NTCC’s five-star, award-winning chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, participated in the Phi Theta Kappa Texas Honors Institute July 11-13 on the campus of Texas Lutheran University (TLU) in Seguin, Texas.  During the conference, attendees stayed in dorms on the TLU campus, ate in the campus dining hall, and participated in activities in classrooms and outdoor activity areas.

Work4College students participate in Money Matters financial literacy simulation

Students in the NTCC Work4College Program participated in the Money Matters financial literacy simulation fair this Thursday in the Student Union Building. The event, sponsored by Texas Heritage National Bank, is an exciting, interactive exercise to help students learn more about managing their personal finances.

Summer II classes start Monday

There's still time to sign up for Summer II classes...but you have to hurry! The second 5-week summer II session starts Monday, July 14th. These classes are a great opportunity to pick up an extra course and be one step closer to your degree.

Most current students can self-enroll online at myeagle.ntcc.edu or you can schedule a time that is convenient to meet with your College Navigator to get one-on-one help with your schedule.

It's also time to lock in your schedule for fall 2025! Classes start August 25th and you can beat the last-minute crowds by registering now.
