The Northeast Texas Community College Rodeo team headed to the first National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) Southern Region Rodeo of the 2025-2026 year hosted by Panola College September 26-27.
Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) invites the community to its 37th Annual Scare Affair on Saturday, October 25, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on the NTCC campus.
This long-standing fall tradition promises fun for all ages, with carnival-style games, crafts, inflatables, food, and more. Guests are encouraged to dress in costume and enjoy an evening of spooky, family-friendly entertainment.
Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) is excited to announce its upcoming Travel Course to Washington, D.C., scheduled for May 27–31, 2026. The trip is open to both NTCC students and community members, offering participants an educational and immersive look at the nation’s capital.
Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) is excited to announce the launch of its new Teen Driver’s Education Program, offered through the college’s Continuing Education program. The course will run October 13 through November 6 and provides local families with a much-needed option for professional driver’s education without having to rely on parent-taught instruction.
In the spring of 2025, NTCC’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa decided to embark on a project to collect and preserve 40 stories. “Stories help us connect with others, they unite, divide, and shape us. They inspire us, make us laugh, remember, and cry. Preserving stories is saving the past; who we were, what we did, and how we did it.”

The Director of the Carroll Shelby Automotive Institute provides both academic leadership and entrepreneurial vision for this newly rebranded, stand-alone program within Northeast Texas Community College. The Director oversees faculty, staff, facilities, and accreditation requirements while serving as the primary ambassador of the Institute. This role requires a leader who can honor the legacy of Carroll Shelby while building innovative partnerships, recruiting top students, and creating opportunities that leverage the globally recognized Carroll Shelby name.

The National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) Southern Region will have the third rodeo of the 2025-2026 season in Mount Pleasant, Texas October 9th-11th. Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) will be the host of the Rodeo held at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Association Arena located on Greenhill Road in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
The Northeast Texas Community College Board of Trustees held its regular meeting Tuesday, Sept. 23.
