The "Outside the Lines" Art Show will be held on Monday, October 28 - Friday, November 1 at the NTCC Whatley Foyer. Some of the art pieces will be up in a silent auction held during the week. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to organizations dedicated to the cause - bringing awareness to the struggles associated with mental illnesses, broadly defined: including anxiety, depression, and the autism spectrum and to show how art can be used for both therapeutic and expressive purposes in the crafting of personal identity. Come on out and enjoy the many impressive pieces and show your support!

A closing reception will be held on Friday, November 1st from 5 - 7 p.m. featuring performances and a presentation by Franklin Cruz starting at 6. Silent auction winners will be announced at 7.

Cruz is a TEDx Mile High performer who has taught and performed in the southwest, Peru, Puerto Rico, for universities and leadership camps. His work encompasses self-love, immigration, culture, nature and more. His slam poetry performances promise to be amazing and inspirational.

The closing reception will be catered by Great Western Dining including the famous chocolate fountain, barbeque meatballs, bacon/ chicken/jalapeno bites, tea, and lemonade.

The event is sponsored by Phi Theta Kappa, Alpha Mu Chi Chapter.
