The Northeast Texas Community College Adult Education Department had a great time last week as they hosted the first annual Adult Education's Got Talent Spring Fling Talent Show. Congratulations to our winners: (1st) Nancy Chavelas Arredondo, (2nd) Kimbrianna Lipsey, and (3rd) Carla Flores who won cash prizes for their performances.
"We are so proud of you as well as all the students who participated. Everyone did an outstanding job! We appreciate your courage in showcasing your talents. You are all winners in our eyes," Fredia Thomas, Director of Adult Education, said.
They also wanted to recognize the teachers and staff who participated in the talent show, Ms. Lydia Reed and Ms. Carol Vandiver. They did a phenomenal job as well. A HUGE thanks to Rico Willis for hosting the event and for making it fun and entertaining for students and staff. A special thanks also to Daisy Bates, Crystal Guerrero and Jimmy Smith for serving as judges for the event. It was a great day and they can't wait until next year!
