Jerald and Mary Lou Mowery (pictured left) recently gave a $1,300 gift to the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation. The funds will be used for the NTCC Whatley Employee Enhancement Fund, specifically for the Honors program to help with their production of a film based on the life of Harriet Potter Ames, the Feminist Legend of the American Revolution, and with the Presidential Scholars Program for their research and documentation of the Caddo Collection owned by NTCC.

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently held its annual golf tournament at Princedale Country Club in Pittsburg. This was the 26^th†consecutive year of the tournament. Participating teams included: AEP/Swepco, American National Bank, Daingerfield Country Club, Bowie-Cass, Cypress Bank, Guaranty Bond Bank, Luminant, Northeast Texas Credit Union, Texas Heritage National Bank, and an NTCC team sponsored by East Texas Wealth Planning Advisors.

 

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a $500 scholarship from the Pleasant Sams, the Mount Pleasant Chapter of the Good Sam Club of America. Television's hit show†Duck Dynasty†is headed to Northeast Texas Community College. Phil Robertson, the Duck Commander himself, and his youngest son, Jep,†will speak on the NTCC campus on Saturday, April 6. The event will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
