Honors Program

Honors and Presidential Scholars are expected to engage in five hours of community service each semester, and to maintain course loads as full-time students.  To graduate as an Honors or Presidential Scholar, a student must have maintained a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25 as  well as a minimum cumulative GPA in the honors seminars, and in subsequent classes taken for honors credit of 3.0.  If an honors student does not take the suggested curriculum found on the curriculum page, he or she must have had the approval of the honors director.  To gra

Honors Northeast exists because the residents of Northeast Texas have encouraged student success and the merit dynamic that inspirits students to plan audaciously.
