About the Eagle Senate SGA
Formerly known as NTCC SGA, the Eagle Senate Student Government Association was rebranded in 2025 to reflect a more energized and unified vision for student leadership. Housed inside SUB 101A within the Office of Student Development and under the direction of Ja’Quacy Kieron Minter, the Eagle Senate SGA serves as the official voice and advocate of the NTCC student body.
The Eagle Senate:
• Represents student interests to college leadership.
• Enhances the student experience through events and initiatives.
• Promotes the image of the college and its students.
• Provides pathways for leadership development and community service.

Meet the 2025 Eagle Ambassadors (Executive Board)
The Eagle Senate is led by six student officers, known as Eagle Ambassadors. These leaders not only serve as the executive board of the Senate but also as trusted representatives and event leaders for the Office of Student Development. From graduation ceremonies to ribbon cuttings, summer orientations, and more, Eagle Ambassadors are the heart of student leadership at NTCC.
All Eagle Ambassadors receive scholarships and are held to a higher standard of leadership, service, and academic excellence.
• Erika Mickens – Madame President
Leads with vision and strength; presides over Senate meetings and represents the student voice in major campus decisions.
• Orey Gentry – Vice President
Ensures smooth internal operations; steps in for the president as needed and oversees committees.
• Gabby Clifton – Public Relations Officer
Keeps the campus community informed and engaged through strategic communication and social media.
• Ladarrius Patterson – Parliamentarian
Maintains order and structure; enforces parliamentary procedure and ensures fair, effective meetings.
• Avery Woods – Treasurer
Manages budget planning, spending oversight, and financial records to keep the Senate fiscally responsible.
• Dylan Shipp – Secretary
Documents meetings, tracks attendance, and ensures all communication is timely and organized.

Join the Eagle Senate General Assembly
"One Flock. One Love. One Community."
The Eagle Senate General Assembly (GA) is open to all NTCC students and meets every Tuesday from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM in SUB 101.
This is your space to:
• Be part of a positive and welcoming community
• Volunteer and support student activities
• Participate in events that range from professional development workshops to fun, social campus events
• Help shape the student experience at NTCC
The General Assembly is 100% volunteer-based—no elections required, just your time and your voice. As a GA member, you’ll join forces with other students who are passionate about making NTCC the best it can be.
Bonus for Active Members:
Students who complete at least 75% of semester service hours through the Care Center or the Office of Student Development will earn:
• Letters of Recommendation
• Reference Permits
• Transfer Networking Opportunities
All awarded by the Office of Student Development upon completion of their time at NTCC.
