Culinary Arts to host final Buffet Night on Oct. 17
The Northeast Texas Community College Culinary Arts Program will host its final special Buffet Night of the season on Thursday, Oct. 17 at the NTCC Culinary Institute (?Our Place?) in historic downtown Pittsburg.
The dinner is open to the public and will be held†from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Seating is restaurant-style and to-go orders will be available by calling ahead to†903-434-8333†The cost is $10 per person.

Mary Jane Coker Memorial Scholarship established at NTCC
Bill and Rosalie Chambers recently established a Perpetual scholarship at Northeast Texas Community College in memory of Mary Jane Coker. The Mary Jane Coker Memorial Scholarship will be for available for students from Titus county majoring in general academic studies. NTCC Honors announces class of 2013-2014
The Northeast Texas Community College Honors Program is pleased to announce its Honors Students for the 2013-2014 school year. This includes nine Presidential Scholars and nine Honors Scholars.
NTCC to host college night
The Annual College Night, sponsored by Northeast Texas Community College, is†set for Wednesday, Oct. 30 in the Student Union Building at NTCC.
Colleges and universities will have representatives on hand from 6:30-8:00 p.m. to provide admissions and financial aid information to high school†students and their parents. All students from ninth to twelfth grade and†NTCC students are invited to attend.

NTCC rodeo begins this week
Rodeo fans will get to see more than 300 athletes from throughout the†Southern Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) compete for points and prizes this weekend as Northeast Texas Community College its 24th annual rodeo.
MPHS junior wins NTCC drawing at Titus County Fair
Congratulations to Clayton Echerd (pictured with Alex Ortega) for winning the NTCC drawing for a Nexus 7 tablet at the Titus County Fair. Clayton is a junior at Mount Pleasant High School who plans to attend the NTCC culinary program after graduation. Many thanks to the students, faculty and staff members who helped out at the college fair booth.
The Bronx Wanderers to perform at Whatley Center
The Bronx Wanderers are "One Part Oldies, Two Parts Rock N? Roll" and they are headed to northeast Texas to shake up the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts! The group will perform on the campus of Northeast Texas Community College on†Saturday, Oct. 12 at 7:30 p.m.
