Dow Auto Group raises $3,000 for Communities In Schools

NTCC Math, Physics and Engineering builds new paths for students

The engineering program at Northeast Texas Community College has come a long way in the last four years, with student enrollment growing significantly each semester.





?Our division of math, physics and engineering collaborate with biology, chemistry, and computer science to offer an engineering program that prepares students for successful transfer to a baccalaureate program,? said Dr. Paula Wilhite, Division Chair for Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering.

Eagles down Centenary College 8-2


† † † After dropping three straight, the Northeast Texas Community College Eagles baseball team is now riding a two game win streak into the weekend series against Hutchinson, KS. †The Eagles dominated Centenary College Wednesday from the first pitch.††Although the game remained tied through the first three innings, the Eagle bats were hot.††The Eagles scored four runs in the fourth, with two of the runs coming on an RBI double from Mount Pleasant native, Riley Greenlee.

Feb. 18 Construction Update

As most of us are aware, it has been a hectic week for construction on campus. An incident Tuesday left much of the campus without power for a short time that morning and the Humanities building has been without electricity since then. We appreciate the patience and adaptability of the faculty, staff and students affected.

Theatre Northeast to perform Over the River and Through the Woods

A stellar cast headlines the current Theatre Northeast production of the charming comedy†Over the Riverand Through the Woods, by Joe DiPietro. The show runs February 25-27 at 7:30 p.m. and February 28 at 2:05 p.m. in the ?Onstage Theatre? of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of Northeast Texas Community College.

Construction Alert

Northeast Texas Community College experienced a brief power outage in several buildings Tuesday morning caused by a construction related incident. Power was restored in all buildings except Humanities, which remains without power for the time being. Students who have classes in the Humanities building should report to their classrooms as regularly scheduled and new arrangements will be made at that time.
