The 2019 Kids Discovery College has come to a close and was a wonderful success! NTCC hosted 74 students on our campus as well as at the Culinary Arts School in Pittsburg and the Wesley Student Center. These students discovered a lot of new and exciting things in their classes and we had the distinct honor of making some new friends while hosting them on campus.
The 2019 Kids Discovery College is well underway as they completed the first week of classes. From learning to bake to riding along in an ambulance, students have had a great time learning in a variety of fun, interactive classes! Kids Discovery College will continue through next week.
Texas A&M University-Texarkana at NTCC needs your help as they "Stuff the Bus" for Communities In Schools. They are accepting donations of school supply items to help local children in need as they head back to school for the new year. Drop off your donation of five items at the A&M-Texarkana at NTCC office in UHS 113 and you will be entered to win a $50 Visa gift card!
The Northeast Texas Community College Work4College Program was featured on KLTV Channel 7 this week! A story about our unique program that allows students to work during the summer to help pay for their college in advance was included during the 6 p.m. news broadcast on Wednesday, July 3.
Northeast Texas Community College will be closed on Thursday, July 4 in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Regular office hours will resume on Friday, July 5 (8 a.m. to noon). In case of an emergency on campus, please contact security at 903-563-1417.
