NTCC's Associate of Applied Science in Funeral Service offers education in both funeral directing and embalming. Online Studies
Our online courses have been designed with the student in mind. We offer flexibility while still having instructor lead content that offers regular and substantial interactions between students, and students and instructors. Student will be required to participate in clinical/internship hours at a funeral facility local to them. Our clinical lab instructor works with you to facilitate practical experiences that work within your schedule and within a reasonable distance from your home. Student’s pursuing their A.A.S. will be required a campus visit in their final semester. In accordance with the American Board of Funeral Service Education Standards students will receive hands-on restorative art experiences during their on-campus visit. In addition to the restorative art component, while on-campus, students will receive practical experiences in both funeral directing and embalming.
