Work4College students learn etiquette and CPR

The NTCC Work4College Program is so much more than just a job! In addition to doing meaningful work on campus, W4C students also take a class that covers a variety of topics that help them as they transition into adulthood. These past two weeks they have focused on learning proper etiquette and became CPR certified.

Two graduate from Professional Driving Academy

The Northeast Texas Community College Professional Driving Academy continues to grow and supply high-demand CDL drivers to the local area. Two new students recently graduated from the program. 2023 Kids Discovery College wrap-up

The 2023 Discovery Kids College wrapped up on Thursday, July 20th. More than 100 kids participated in 16 classes over the past two weeks. While all of the courses were designed to be fun, they were also educational in nature.

“These kids have had a blast becoming drone pilots, building robots, learning to save lives and so much more,” Jimmy Smith, Director of Continuing Education and Corporate Training, said. “It is really rewarding to see them having a great time on our campus and we hope to see them again as college students in the future.”

NTCC Board holds June meeting

The Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) Board of Trustees met for its June meeting on Tuesday, July 11th after the regularly-scheduled June meeting did not achieve a quorum.  Titus County Judge, Kent Cooper, was in attendance to swear in Russell East to the board.

East was appointed to Place 4 on the board in May after the resignation of Sid Greer.
